The jpg's
are used for bump or reflection maps. Put these in the 'Material'
folder in PI. Put the SMP file in the 'Ulead.dat' folder. Open
the Easy Palette and click on 'Gallery Manager,' 'Import' and
select 'krispi2.SMP'. Then "apply away" and PLEASE let me know
if you have any problems.
Some
of these material presets are "converted from image." If you apply
one to a path and get a bizarre shape with "wings" sticking out
all over the place, try this: Click the options button and on
the 'Color/Texture' tab click 'options' and select 'fit the texture.'
This should fix it.
When
I use these materials on text, I usually change the bevel to "chisel"
and increase the lights. The presets are set for the rectangle
path, so I increased the border to 30 for the circles in the samples.
I also added shadows to the text examples. On the circle example
for Bronze Tapestry the ambient light was increased the from 44%
to 60%.
The Lumpy
Lollipop uses a plain old color with bump and reflection maps,
so you can change the color to anything you want.
Good
luck - please email me if you have any problems.
These
directions are included in the zip file for any fellow memory-challenged
netizens.
