Valley of Fire - High Color Theme - 1038kb
This is my first desktop theme - it was a lot of fun! The picture is from Valley of Fire in southern Nevada, where I grew up. It is a beautiful place, at least if you're a desert rat like me. There are Indian petroglyphs on some of the rock walls - it's very interesting. The sounds in this theme are very unobtrusive - the desert is a pretty quiet place! Click on the picture to download. You'll need Microsoft Plus! or another theme installer to use it. It's a self-extracting zip file. I included startup and shutdown screens which can be installed with ZD Net's freeware "Logo Manager" or a neat little shareware program called "Desktop Themes."

If you like flowers and green stuff, you'll like this theme. Lots of nice bird sounds, too. No startup and shutdown screens in this one - but it's a self-extracting zip file that will unzip it to your themes directory.
I'm working on some more themes - among them a farm theme and a forest theme. (I don't live in the desert anymore!) Please check back!
